Peculiar is a funny word

Peculiar is a funny word
which I know
which I like the sound
and taste of
another melodious word
which the teacher used today
and which I did not know
but immediately liked the sound
and taste of
is "tantalizing"
I looked it up in the dictionary
now, knowing its meaning,
the word is broadening
into a dazzling perspective of magic prismes
conjured up from the drop of a word.
